Hatfield McCoy Trail Trip

My Wife and I traveled to Gilbert West Virginia over the Martin Luther King Holiday weekend to enjoy the great outdoors on our Yamaha Rhino 660. We rode about 32 miles on the trails on Saturday and I drove, then on Sunday we rode about 73 miles and she drove. Below are the images from the trip.

This image was on the Saturday trip. We were about 7 miles into the trail. It was about 35 degrees on the mountain and there were some wet spots and very little ice.

The below images are what the Rhino looked like after Day One:

The Next images are the pre day 2. We were really bundled up since it was only 11 degrees in town, then we heard it was only about -5 with the wind chill on the mountain. One thing to pay attention to on these and the last set of photos is the winch.

The next set of photos are the scenic view from atop the mountain. Believe me it was cold.

People in this town said either we are really crazy or really dumb. Below is the end of day 2. We were out for about 8 hours riding and road about 73 miles. My wife did all of the driving this day. Our Rhino was still defrosting a week later.

Bet you never have seen anything quiet like that before huh! I believe we may be a little crazy, my wife and I. Maybe that is what keeps us sane and happpy.
